Arc Consulting Partners provide answers to clients investing and operating in hospitality and tourism. We help achieve successful outcomes to the challenges and opportunities the sector presents.

Why us? We bring expertise, familiarity, understanding and relevance to resolving problems and developing practical solutions.

Optimising hospitality

We support owners, investors and operators to identify the key market, product and financial elements that can maximise the asset value of a site, hotel/resort or hospitality concept.  We also provide asset management services for established businesses.

We provide answers to key questions that create the business or planning related case in an ever-changing and competitive market environment.  Which markets to target? How best to differentiate our product? How can businesses performance be maximised? What branding and management options best fit the project in hand?

OUR SERVICES

Developing tourism

We advise Governments, International Agencies (European Union and United Nations World Tourism Organisation) International Development Banks (African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, World Bank) and the private sector to prepare local and national tourism destination plans and investment strategies worldwide.

Our assignments analyse and realise the potential of natural, historic, cultural, and human resources, identify new tourism products, attract visitor markets, support investment, and create employment.

BHUTAN PROJECT

Supporting real estate

We provide insight into the operational businesses and the factors that drive value in hospitality related real estate. As an asset class, hotels are increasingly recognised as an attractive option through which to diversify portfolios.

The basics of the specific property, location, market and operational dynamics need to be understood in every situation. We bring an understanding of both the business aspects and the underlying real estate/property issues that combined, create trading income, profit and capital value.

RICOH ARENA PROJECT

Being ahead of the curve

Arc Consulting Partners enable their clients to perform ahead of the curve. We provide  specialised sector insight, anticipation of market trends, create imaginative concepts and strategies, robust analysis, coherent business development and effective asset management. As markets evolve and unexpected challenges arise, it is important to have a bespoke solution to any specific situation.

Identifying opportunities and delivering results

An iconic cricket venue near Southampton, the former Rosebowl had been advised following a major strategic review to evolve its business model to include a hotel and conference facilities and host international events. As an important tourism asset this involved seeking funds from the local council in an innovative scheme.

The Borough Council’s plans to invest nearly £50M in the Ageas Bowl cricket ground including the construction of a 4* luxury hotel was an exciting but also challenging venture as it was something very much outside the normal business of a local authority. The proposal would not have progressed had it not been for the superb support received from the team of external advisors of which Arc played a crucial and indeed pivotal role. The construction of the hotel was without doubt the most challenging aspect of the whole project and, in working with the lawyers, Arc provided us with sound commercial advice based on a detailed knowledge of the industry. Without Arc’s honesty, professionalism and expertise the project would not have progressed and we would not have seen the tremendous outcome that we see today in the Ageas Bowl’.

Our Place, Arc Consulting Partners

Our Place is involved in creating sustainable developments through carefully considered masterplans.  One such mixed use scheme in a regional UK city involved consideration as to whether to introduce a hotel and consider the wider benefits it might bring as part of a wider sustainable development focused on the needs of the local community. This involved examining the local hotel market and the interaction of the accommodation element with other facilities alongside determining the most appropriate location within the site.

‘Arc worked with our team to pull together an insightful analysis of the local hospitality market to allow us to appraise the viability of an opportunity on our site. The Arc team were highly collaborative and produced their report within the agreed timescales. Overall, it was a highly satisfactory experience and I would recommend their services very highly’.
