Owner and Operator Property & Operational Challenges
A complex hospitality situation in which a series of property and operational challenges had arisen with contested issues between an owner and operator required industry insight and input.
Working with the appointed legal specialists this required an understanding of both ownership rights and the needs of the operator together with assessing the future business potential of the hotel’s business with or without certain facilities.
Our role involved providing an understanding of industry dynamics, hotel viability and the tourism context of the business against a complex ownership backdrop.
This was made possible through Arc’s market and viability specialist working closely with our own tourism economist to deliver relevant quantification of trading and tourism impacts and provision of sector insight along with identifying the operational implications of various scenarios. This is an ongoing situation as the relevant parties seek to resolve their differences.
