Working with Hotel Solutions for North Kestevan Council we assisted in the initial appraisal of a well located privately owned hotel that had been identified as a suitable investment by the Council given its potential and location.
This due diligence process involved a site appraisal , meeting with management and reviewing the local market to identify strengths and weaknesses of the existing operation.
A further phase involved the identification and discussions with potential third party operators but in the end the Council decided to manage the hotel directly and a recruitment process was set underway to appoint a General Manager.
The pub hotel has now re-established its market position and benefits from investment and improved marketing.
