Exploring solutions in a changing hospitality and tourism market

Exploring Solutions Arc Consulting Partners

People are starting to say ‘Hello’ again, face to face

As companies and investors seek to either re-open, re-structure or re-imagine their original business concepts in dramatic and highly challenging market conditions, our in depth hospitality and tourism sector experience is available to help you reset your business priorities. Changing market conditions may, in some cases, open up new and different opportunities that will also need to be explored and assessed.

Too many variables exist for ‘off the shelf’ or ‘cookie cutter’ solutions to be relevant. Business owners and operators need flexible and insightful input and with a wide range of options.

In the post lock down ‘re-set’ phase you may be seeking strategic or operational support to an existing business, re-modelling a concept or simply exploring potential new ventures. Tools such as Market Appraisals, Feasibility Studies, Operational Improvement Initiatives or new Business Plans may be required or it could be that you simply need assistance to investigate opportunities.

If so call us (0044 (0) 7785 514831) to talk through any specific needs on an exploratory basis from which we can help you assess how best to move forward.

Arc is currently involved in several live projects (supporting leisure accommodation rationale in two planning cases and a market appraisal for a mid-scale hotel in addition to international tourism assignments). These focus on providing our clients with independent market evaluation, project appraisal and asset management skills often working alongside other specialists or with an existing ‘in-house’ team in a support capacity.

The eventual ‘Reset’

With an eye on the eventual ‘Reset’ post crisis we recently formed and facilitated a Panel for Travel and Hospitality with highly experienced travel and hospitality professionals (‘PATH to Reset’).  This forum includes the Chairman of European Tour Operator Associations (ETOA), Mario Bodini and prominent hospitality professionals including Richard Bursby, Liz Hall, Dexter Moren and Gerard Nolan who we thank for their input and insight. It focuses on identifying issues and putting forward solutions that (along with data and intelligence provided by STR Global and Bench Conference events) could assist in the months ahead. Green Shoots and Crystal Balls – Travel & Hospitality Reset

Measuring Risk. A challenge for travel & hospitality consumers and their suppliers

We have also formed associations with Viability, hospitality specialists in the Middle East region based in Dubai for their regional expertise and with Smith Leisure a specialist golf consultancy as a means of servicing wider geographic and individual client needs.

Do let us know how you are faring and what your current objectives are through a call or email.

We look forward to meeting again in person when better times return. With best wishes for your health and business interests.
