We were commissioned by Essex Cricket Club to look at the potential for a hotel on their prime site located in the heart of the city – this involved conducting a market survey , assessing competition and assessing future potential together with working with the appointed architects, Miller Bourne and then holding initial discussions with potential operators.
Arc has been involved in a few hotel appraisals involving sporting grounds seeking to expand their business model through creating an adjoining or integrated hotel with meeting facilities as part of creating a wider destination. This began from our original involvement with the Utilita (RoseBowl cricket ground ) in Hampshire.
The project continues to evolve.
